Terry has more than 45 years of civil litigation experience, concentrating on all types of injuries, and workers compensation litigation.

Terry attended Duquesne University School of Law and graduated with honors. He has practiced in many of the counties throughout Pennsylvania and also in the Federal Western District of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Superior Court and Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He began his career in defense work in 1980 with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. He also handled cases for Employers Insurance of Wausau, Safeco Insurance, Ohio Casualty Insurance, Peerless Insurance and American States Insurance Company. During his career with liberty Mutual, he was an instructor at Liberty Mutual’s Attorney Training Program for both civil litigation and workers compensation. From 2001 to 2021, Terry was the managing attorney for Liberty Mutual’s trial staff office in Pittsburgh, as well as being a senior trial attorney.

He has served as Chairperson of the Allegheny County Bar Section of Workers Compensation. He also was appointed a special master to handle arbitration appeals in Allegheny County. He has taught CPCU courses at Robert Morris University.

Terry has been married for 45 years and has one son who is an interventional cardiologist at St. Clair Health System. He enjoys spending time with his three grandchildren, traveling with family, philately, and being one of the oldest people in the crowd at rock concerts.
