Ian Newman is an Associate Attorney at Friday & Cox, and has been with the firm since March of 2024.
Mr. Newman received a Bachelor of Communications along with a minor in Psychology from Duquesne University in 2019. He then attended Duquesne University School of Law on Academic Scholarship until receiving his Juris Doctorate in 2022.
During law school, Mr. Newman served as a certified legal intern in the Duquesne University Youth Advocacy Clinic assisting juveniles undergoing serious delinquency and special education issues. Mr. Newman received the Pro Bono award for his work with the Youth Advocacy Clinic.
Mr. Newman is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and is pending admission to the Western District of Pennsylvania.
In his free time, Mr. Newman enjoys traveling, spending time with his wife and dogs, and cooking.
