Gregory J. Nicosia, Jr. joined the firm in 2016. Greg is Pittsburgh native and a long time Pittsburgh Penguins fan. Greg’s practice focuses in the areas of industrial accidents, motor vehicle accidents and bad faith insurance practices.

In 2012, Greg graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh, earning a degree in Psychology with minors in neuroscience and music. Greg served as the Vice President for the Delta Chi Fraternity’s Pittsburgh Chapter and later served on the Pittsburgh Chapter’s Alumni Board of Trustees as its Secretary.

Greg received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2015. While in law school, he was a Norman Gluck Endowment Scholarship Recipient and served as a Note and Comment Editor for the Journal of Law and Commerce and. Greg also participated in the Semester in D.C. program, where he served as a law clerk for the U.S. Department of Justice in the Offices of Immigration Litigation and Civil Rights Division, Criminal Section. At the Office of Immigration Litigation, Greg wrote appellate briefs and motions for submission to the United States Courts of Appeals. At the Civil Rights Division, Criminal Section, he drafted motions and provided advice on matters of national import in the areas of human trafficking, hate crimes, official misconduct, conditions of confinement, and Constitutional law.

Prior to joining Friday & Cox, Greg worked as a Contract Title Attorney examining chains-of-title for oil and gas lease interests in Pennsylvania and West Virginia for national operators.
